Guests from El Jadida, Morocco

Welcoming Morocco to Dudley

Dudley College has been pleased to host over thirty staff and students from El Jadida, Morocco on a summer study tour.

Redhouse Glass Cone in Stourbridge

Aged from 15 to 18, the students came to Dudley to undertake a two-week programme, incorporating English language, enterprise, university and employer visits and cultural trips to London, Stratford-upon-Avon and Cadbury’s World. The students also enjoyed shopping in Birmingham!

The visit, facilitated by Marque Associates, is the first time young people from L-Ange Bleu High School have come to Dudley College on this programme. To make the trip a success, the college provided intensive pastoral support alongside the excellent teaching provided by our academic staff. We were also warmly welcomed by the University of Wolverhampton and Birmingham City University, as well as Redhouse Glass Cone in Stourbridge.

His Excellency Mr. Abderrahim Beyyoudh, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco

At the end of the progamme, students attended a graduation ceremony, at which the guest of honour was His Excellency Mr. Abderrahim Beyyoudh, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco. We were delighted to be honoured by this representation from the Moroccan Embassy, and the event marked the end of a hugely successful and enjoyable week. We now look forward to welcoming more students from Morocco in 2017!
