Hanoi Vocational College of High Technology, Vietnam

This partnership is made possible thanks to Skills for Employability funding from the British Council.

HHT has grown rapidly since opening in 2009. It has expanded its workforce and curriculum substantially. We are supporting our colleagues at HHT to manage this growth with:

  • Leadership & Management training
  • English language development
  • Getting accreditation from UK awarding organisations.
  • Our partners at HHT visited Dudley College in September 2014. They met with colleagues across our campus, observing them at work. Our team visited Hanoi in January 2015. We delivered Leadership & Management training to senior HHT staff. One of our directors worked with HHT’s English language team on developing their teaching practice.

We are planning further activities. These include:

  • Sending our English language team on a return visit to Hanoi
  • Welcoming delegates from HHT on another visit to Dudley College. This time we will focus on accrediting
  • HHT’s Business Administration programme and explore quality assurance systems for HHT.
  • HHT aims to open the first English language training centre in its region. We look forward to helping our Vietnamese colleagues achieve their goal.

The British Council’s Skills for Employability programme enables organisations to work together on projects that create ongoing positive change in educational systems and meet the evolving needs of students and employers.
